Mississauga is in Ontario, Canada's most populous province, where hot humid summers, colourful falls and snowy winters shape local life; the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa and the Golden Horseshoe are dense enough for transit and walking, while smaller towns are car country. Getting around Mississauga is easiest by car for most of the year; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-hailing apps operate across Ontario's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Baked goods are great here, especillay the Canolli. Crossiants are also very good. The only issue I have is i've been going there for 14 years consistently, and its a small shop, i would stand out as a non-italian, never feel welcomed, or the owner says hello to me. I don't know, maybe i'm being judgy, but sometimes just rubs me the wrong way.

Honestly, I’ve always had a great experience here β€” their hot chocolate and other things usually exceed my expectations. That’s why I came back again for the hot chocolate. Unfortunately this time, it felt like very little cocoa mix was added, so the drink wasn’t creamy, rich, or chocolaty like it normally is. I know they can do much better because I’ve had amazing things from them before. Hoping this was just a one-time mistake and the consistency improves because I genuinely enjoy this place.

My family and I have been loyal customers of this bakery for over 15 years. We’ve always enjoyed coming here, especially during the summer when we would grab pizza and bike back home together. Because of that long history, it’s very disappointing to have to write this review. Recently, I called in the morning to ask if they could hold two slices of pizza for my mom. When I picked them up and brought them home (I live only two minutes away), I noticed they had been wrapped in a different type of paper than they used in the past. They used to wrap slices in foil/ parchment( parchment touching the food). This time, they are usually a new paper wrapping that is red checked on one side and regular parchment on the other. they wrapped the pizza red side up ( which is obviously wrong)and it leaked red dye onto the pizza. The entire bottom and sides were stained red. It was potato pizza β€” which has no red toppings β€” so it was very obvious something wasn’t right. I immediately called the bakery, assuming it was an honest mistake. Instead of concern, I was met with attitude on the phone. I was told to bring it back, and they reassured me that the paper was β€œfood grade” and β€œfood safe.” Whi

We've been to many Italian, Polish, Portuguese bakeries all over the city, we decided to give this establishment a try. We came in at 1:30 PM on a Wednesday and the lady serving us was in a rush, no patience, just yelling and not even giving us an opportunity to ask questions regarding our order for the hot bar and sandwiches. Can't speak for the baked goods or other products in the store but we can honestly say that the hot table food was mid at best and nothing special... Which would've been OKAY if the service wasn't bad.

An Italian rum cake from Lazio Bakery, ordered for my girlfriend’s 50th birthday, was hands down the best cake ever had. It was moist, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. When sliced, you could see all the beautiful layers β€” and every bite melted in your mouth. The cake was a showstopper, beautifully decorated with fresh-cut flowers, and every guest couldn’t stop raving about it. Lazio Bakery truly outdid themselves. Every morsel was devoured!
