This cake/coffee shop is definitely a comfortable, and cute place with considerate staff. It’s in a plaza with free parking, and the coffee, tea, bubble tea, and sandwiches are made to order. They have a nice display of available cakes on their menu & cake styles as follows: whipped cream and chiffon or buttercream and sponge cake. Orders are still available for Father’s Day weekend, just give 24 hrs notice & they will deliver to your location for a small fee. Win win for anyone who needs a beautifully decorated cake for events such as birthdays, bar mitzvahs, New Year’s parties, Eid, weddings or retirement celebrations! I had the latte for a midday treat & appreciated that it was made how I requested (oat milk optional!)

Best place to get a custom cake! Ordered this cake (choco strawberry flavour) and it turned out exactly the way we wanted. Our guests were so impressed and loved the taste & how moist it was.

We would totally recommend this place for the best mango cake in town. The cream is real, mangoes were sweet and fresh even though it was out of season, and the cake itself wasn’t dry. My wife picked up a couple of cakes from this place on Jan 28th for my son’s birthday. A large mango cake and a small matcha strawberry cake. Both were superb but the mango was out of this world. We have tried numerous mango cakes from different stores even from east side of GTA like Markham, Scarborough, and Richmond Hill and this was the best we have ever tried. Highly recommend and surprisingly wasn’t overly sweet. Just all the natural flavours. Will definitely order our cakes from Bear cakes again. The whole family enjoyed both cakes. It wasn’t all perfect though as we had a mishap. The cake box handle broke on our walk home. Ruined the cake but was still edible. We still enjoyed it without the presentation but Sisi the staff or owner there was understanding and apologetic and refunded one of our cakes.

I’ve purchased from this cake shop many times, and they never disappoint. The cakes are always high quality, made with great care and attention to detail. You can really taste the effort and passion behind each cake. The owner is also very nice and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

honestly, a lot of people doesn’t know about this place, but it is a hidden gem💎. One must try their cake and hot chocolate. Also their coffee is great. It’s a great place to have afternoon or evening snacks with friends. Also, the Reception lady was very friendly and sweet. ✨🩷🥂
