Medical services in Ontario range from family practices and community health centres to major hospital networks. Ask whether the clinic is accepting new patients, what is covered by the provincial plan and whether a referral is needed for a specialist. Pharmacists can advise on common ailments, renew some prescriptions and give flu shots, but a proper diagnosis from a doctor is the safer route for anything that lasts more than a few days.

Toronto is in Ontario, Canada's most populous province, where hot humid summers, colourful falls and snowy winters shape local life; the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa and the Golden Horseshoe are dense enough for transit and walking, while smaller towns are car country. Canadian addresses list the street number and name, then the city, province abbreviation and postal code (letter-digit-letter, digit-letter-digit), and Toronto follows the same pattern; a unit number such as Unit 200 or #3 refers to a suite inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Treated my husband with extreme patience and respect in spite of the fact that the ER was overflowing with patients. Kept family well informed as the situation evolved.

Had an excellent experience here on a Friday evening. Went in for a relatively minor health issue, but got efficient and expert care, especially from Dr Baker. Only three hours from registration to discharge. Thank you!

I had a great experience at Toronto General ED. I came for a pain crisis and they were attentive, addressed my issues in a timely fashion. The nurses and the doc were great to work with and I didnβt havenβt to wait for any unreasonable amount of time. They really had solid plans and protocols in place for patients with my symptoms and I was very impressed with how it was executed. Kudos to the team !

Came here for a leg injury and had an X-ray done. We were told to wait in the waiting area and that the results would take a couple of hours. After waiting over 5 hours, we followed up with the nurses for an update. Unfortunately, the interactions we had felt dismissive and unhelpful. One nurse told us she didnβt know and seemed uninterested in helping, while another interaction at the desk felt even colder. I understand hospitals are stressful, fast-paced, and often understaffed environments. However, being polite and respectful when speaking to patients and families goes a long way. Many people coming into the hospital are already dealing with difficult situations, and a little compassion can make the experience much easier for them. I guess this is just what we get with βfreeβ healthcare

I have had a visual loss with lots of pain in my eyes and also lots of painful lesions in my mouth and my vision is getting worse and worse and Iβm still waiting to just see a simple doctor and not an ophthalmologist or at least an internist for a long time and no one even the nurses here helped me at all and just tell me to wait for an unknown time. They are so rude to me. Iβm a medical doctor myself and pay attention to my patients and here is the worst medical system that Iβve seen in my life and I hope nothing will happen to me. Never come to this hospital because you wonβt get any help. Itβs a shame for Canada medical system that mentioned this is the second best hospital in the world. Itβs just a joke.
