You and Your Family Will Breathe Weed Smoke and Sleep in One of the Dirtiest Places in Toronto! One of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. From the moment I checked in, the place was completely unacceptable. The shared bathroom was dirty, and the portable AC was so incredibly loud that it sounded like a generator running next to the bed, making it extremely difficult to sleep. On top of that, my son and I had to deal with cannabis/weed smoke throughout the night. I was told that cannabis is legal in Canada and was even advised to wear a mask if I was sensitive to the smell. That is simply not an acceptable solution for paying guests who are trying to sleep. What made the experience even worse was how the management handled my refund. I was initially told and confirmed in messages that I would receive a refund for one night. Based on that confirmation, I drove approximately 50 minutes back to the property. When I arrived, I was told that management had refused the refund and had changed their decision. Even the parking fee that had been discussed was not refunded. This was an enormous waste of my time and completely unprofessional. If management was going to r

A very nice hostel, not far from some lovely trails and parks, and right next to a shopping centre. The only downside is how far it is to the airport. The place is kept clean and tidy at all times and they even offer fresh sheets and towels for people staying for longer periods of time. I highly recommend this hostel if you're ever staying in Toronto, it's a great place!

The team here was really nice and the space was kept really clean. I was in a single room which was small but it had everything I needed, including a desk and mirror. The kitchen is well set up for cooking with lots of utensils etc. The showers and bathrooms are communal, but they are all individual rooms so you have privacy. I was on the first floor and had a small window, which I was glad for because it was stuffy when I arrived and it got warm at night (which is better than being too cold lol). There were rooms in the basement and I don't know if they had windows. It was great for a short stay and I would go back again!

Adi and staff keep this gorgeous Victorian guesthouse 110% clean, welcoming and super comfortable… everything created for us travellers has been SO well-designed, maintained and efficient! In a city that has grown sky-high (🥲), Huntley Street retains its human scale and charm… and the location is handy to transport, supermercado… and coffee!! One of the bonuses is a landscaped rear courtyard in the quiet evenings. Look forward to friendly visits by both the cheerful Adi AND the two well-fed raccoons 🦝🦝!! And rest assured: you WILL sleep soundly!
