Ontario is in Ontario, Canada's most populous province, where hot humid summers, colourful falls and snowy winters shape local life; the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa and the Golden Horseshoe are dense enough for transit and walking, while smaller towns are car country. Traffic in Ontario peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then, and more after a snowfall. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, the province abbreviation and the six-character postal code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I visited the Emergency Department at Etobicoke General on Sunday July 12, 2026. Even though there were about 20 patients in the ATC section, I was really impressed with how efficiently the desk ran. One doctor and about 5 staff members were working, and the team had great flow. I specifically want to shout out Oliviaβshe was exceptionally fast and organized, calling patients and directing them to the right rooms, which kept the whole section running smoothly. The doctor on duty, Dr. D. Jones, was also very professional and thorough. Overall, I'm really happy with the care I received and the way the team handled a busy day. Thank you!"

Day Surgery Department My day started at 7:30 AM with a phone call to the Day Surgery department. Thank you to Linda for being so helpful and for calling back two hours later with an updated appointment timeβyour kindness and compassionate voice started my day perfectly. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Joanne, who had me checked in and ready for surgery in no time. Thank you, Joanne, for your efficient and professional service. My pre-surgery nurse, Rachel, got me completely prepared, ensured I was comfortable, and kept me informed every step of the way, which I deeply appreciated. In the operating room, Jessica worked incredibly hard, seamlessly executing the doctor's orders (even though I had no idea what the medical terminology meant!). Unfortunately, we hit a minor setback with the equipment, and I had to be moved to recovery and woken up. Initially, I was a bit frustrated that the procedure couldn't be completed, but that's when I met Taraβthe kindest, most patient nurse of the day. Thank you for everything, Tara; you made a two-hour wait fly by. I also want to give a special shout-out to Opal in the Cystoscopy department. She was there when I was successfully treated, and sh

I have so much love and appreciation for Etobicoke General Hospital. This is where my daughter was born a year ago, and honestly, the experience was so incredible that it has given me a permanent soft spot for this place! My gynecologist and labor nurse were absolutely AMAZING, everything went so smoothly during such a major moment in my life. Today, I returned for an iron infusion, and once again, the hospital exceeded my expectations. The entire process is incredibly well-structured and easy to follow. Every staff member Iβve encountered has been helpful, kind, and ready to guide me exactly where I need to go. I didn't realize I needed to eat before the infusion, but my nurse was so sweet, she brought me toast with peanut butter and juice. To top it off, they gave me a perfectly warm blanket. It honestly feels like staying at a 5 star hotel! From bringing new life into the world to routine medical care, the team here makes you feel safe, cared for, and looked after. Thank you, Etobicoke General!

It's been a week since I've been at this hospital and now as we are going home with our healthy baby I would like to thank the team here who helped my baby. Labour and Delivery Department- Our Fantastic Gynec Dr. Eve Fried, I have no words to thank you for all your care and service. We are so glad we had you throughout the pregnancy. The team at this ward was great, except for one nurse, Kanwal, who could use a little more empathy towards the patients. First-time parents have their own questions and anxiety so even tho its 2 am you still wanna do your job with a smile and care. Maybe refresh on your communication skills and work on behaviour management. Recovery room- what an amazing caring team. Especially our nurses Urooj and Gloria. Thank you for all the care you took for the mother and baby. ( Admin team- fix the water station in the kitchen plz) Urgent Pediatric Assessment Clinic- Excellent patient care. Dr. Pearl, you are truly amazing Dr and thanks to our nurses on day 1 and day 2. ( Suri, Bre, Juliie and others) I can't thank you guys enough for your support and care you provided to my son. Thank you Etobicoke General Hospital for your service.

I visited the Health Information Management office at William Osler Health System β Etobicoke General Hospital today to request my medical records. I recently arrived in Canada and my family doctor asked for some reports from my previous hospital visits. The three ladies at the front desk were extremely kind, friendly, and very helpful. They made the whole process quick and easy and helped organize everything so the information could be sent to my family doctor. I really appreciated their professionalism and warm attitude. Thank you for making the process so smooth and stress-free.
