One of the best shawarmas I’ve ever had!! I probably need not say much given the restaurant already had 5 stars, but the food was exceptional. It was a little pricey (about $15 for a wrap) but very worth it- they did not lie when they said “large” it was bigger than a standard book. The Toum is flavourful, they had a variety of toppings, the service was very friendly and I would absolutely recommend!!

I stopped in for a meal recently and found the experience to be a bit of a letdown. I tried the burger, but it was very bland—essentially just ground beef with barely any noticeable spices or seasoning. I definitely wouldn't order it again. The atmosphere was also quite tense. I want to give a huge shoutout to Salah, who was very friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, his colleague (a man with an Egyptian accent) was the polar opposite. He was extremely disrespectful toward the employees, which is really disappointing to see in a downtown Ottawa restaurant. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when there is that kind of negative energy coming from the leadership/staff.

We checked out Shawarma Maestro recently and wow … it did not disappoint! I got the Maestro Platter and my partner went for the Mixed Shawarma Platter, and honestly, the servings were huge. We were absolutely stuffed by the end. The meat was flavorful and juicy, the sides were fresh, and the falafel balls were so good … crispy outside, soft and tasty inside. The staff were just as awesome as the food. Super friendly, really accommodating, and just genuinely nice people. You can tell they care about making you feel welcome. Overall, great food, massive portions, and such good vibes. Definitely coming back!

I ordered two family trays from Shawarma Maestro—one chicken and one beef—and they were both fantastic! The flavors were spot on, and the portions were huge, easily feeding our group with plenty of leftovers. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling. I’ll definitely be back for more!

I recently ordered three family trays from Shawarma Maestro—vegetarian, chicken, and beef—and they were incredible! Though meant to feed five, they easily fed more with leftovers. The flavors were spot-on: fresh and flavorful veggies, perfectly marinated chicken, and juicy, savory beef. Generous portions, great taste, and perfect for any gathering. Highly recommend!
