Oretta is a beautiful Italian restaurant in downtown. Service is great. Love that our waiter used a little Italian when talking to us. We had reservations and had a table on the patio with the windows and ceiling open. It was so nice. Food was good. We really enjoyed the Caesar salad. Pizza was good. We prefer wood-fired pizza over oven baked but the mortadella was still very good. Love the artichoke on it. Great cocktail list with four different Negronis to pick from including summer special menu.

We went to check out the Happy Hour at this newest location. The interiors are similar in style to their other locations … clean modern look. In addition they have nice enclosed patio and regular patio. We were greeted quickly and seated. The staff are always friendly and strive to make everything great. The prosecco is great tasting and not super sweet. Monday/Tuesday feature wine bottles up to $250 half priced. We had polenta fries arancini balls and a small margherita pizza. The food is consistently good and piping hot. I tried the espresso martini which was good and the spritzes are a fav in the summer. All in all a fun time !

Good quality food! The pizza’s have a great crust! I liked this orange Macario drink. The cacio e Pepe portion was smaller, but tasted good. The covered patio is awesome but loud FYI. The chairs are pretty uncomfortable if you’re hanging around after a while. They’ve got FIFA on in the patio too which was great vibe!

Excellent brunch experience. We ordered from the Γ  la carte menu instead of the provided brunch menu which we thoroughly enjoyed! Artichokes were the best we ever had. Burrata - delicious. And of course the cacio e pepe was perfection (always add the truffles). Service, fantastic! Will be going again when we visit Toronto in the future and will be recommending to friends!

Overall, it was a really great experience and definitely worth trying. The space is beautiful, bright, and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with a nice city view. The appetizers were absolutely amazing. Honestly, one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. It was one of those dishes where you enjoy every bite, and it actually stood out more than the main course for me. The pizza was good, tasty and enjoyable, and I liked it overall. The salad looked very beautiful and well-presented, but it didn’t really have much flavor and felt quite plain. What really made the experience special was the staff. They were professional, friendly, and attentive, and honestly a big part of why I’d go back again. The service made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. And if you’re lucky, Derick will be there, super friendly and great at what he does. I’d definitely go back, especially for the appetizers and the overall vibe.
