I love visiting Meatings, but trying to arrange catering is next level challenging. We submitted a web form inquiry and never heard back. We then tried communicating via Instagram and were asked to email. An email was sent and it took a week to get a response. We eventually connected with Patrick and let him know availability for a set up call agreeing to a 90 minute window. They called 45 minutes after the window closed and our schedule has moved on to the next meeting. Unfortunate. Anyone who has ever hosted catered events knows there is a bit of back and forth setting things up. The process with Meatings has been unimpressively disorganized. This level of friction makes it seem like a very DIY catering option. So it seems the catering side is more of a hobby which is a shame as we would love to have them for our events. We'll have to limit ourselves to enjoying Meatings at the brewery which has always been excellent. The food is the highlight. Communication and organization is a low point.

Meatings Catering was, without question, one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. From the moment guests arrived until the very end of the evening, the food was the talk of the event. We are still hearing compliments, and so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. Mat and his team were exceptional from start to finish. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for making our day perfect were evident every step of the way. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to simply enjoy our wedding knowing we were in great hands. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served flawlessly. While the main courses were absolutely incredible, the appetizers completely stole the show. The live sushi rolling station was an unforgettable experience and had guests lining up all evening. Several of our friends who regularly eat sushi in Toronto couldn't believe the quality and said it was the best sushi they've ever had. It was such a unique and memorable addition that everyone is still talking about. We truly cannot thank Mat and the entire Meatings team enough

Taste and service were great but portion control is outrageous. $50 for a terribly small "platter" If you just order all the small portions separately you'd have double the wings, double the burnt ends, more pulled pork and only 1 less rib. Not thrilled when the waitress said Id have to bring leftovers home but when the food was brought out only half the platter was filled 😔

Brisket 5/5 Brisket Burnt Ends 1/5 Sausage 5/5 Ribs 4/5 Sauces 5/5 Came for the brisket and was not disappointed. The other meats were ok. Highly recommended their tater tots. Seasoned nicely and with the perfect crisp.

This was the Brisket sandwich. Uber added it's 10 dollars which after tax and tip came to about 40 dollars. This was not a 20 dollar sandwich. I have gone in the past and had great experiences. It felt like after the lunch rush, they didn't have any buns or full portions so I got a cheap small burger bun, a nd 3.5 chunks of beef. I dont expect it to look exactly like the menu picture but this was nothing like it portion wise and I was disappointed.
