House of McGrath

House of McGrath is a restaurant and social house located in Toronto’s historic Comstock Building, steps from Massey Hall and Queen & Yonge. Founded by Matthew and Michele McGrath, the house was created to preserve a piece of Toronto’s history and offer a gathering place rooted in character, craftsmanship, and hospitality.

Inspired by classic European dining rooms, the restored space blends timeless architecture with a warm, refined atmosphere designed for conversation and connection. The menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients, in-house preparation, and traditional techniques. Our in-house beer uses heritage brewing methods such as decoction mashing and open fermentation to produce the House's signature lager, pilsner, and stout.
