I stopped by Egg Club while I was on vacation in Ottawa, visiting from New York, and I can honestly say it was one of the best breakfast spots I tried during my trip. I had seen a few good reviews before going, but the food still managed to exceed my expectations. The place has a nice, cozy vibe, and from the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions about the menu. I ordered one of their signature egg sandwiches, and it was absolutely amazing. The bread was perfectly toasted with a soft, buttery texture, the eggs were cooked just right, and every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. The combination of the creamy sauce, melted cheese, crisp lettuce, and perfectly seasoned filling made every bite so satisfying. You can tell they really pay attention to the little details instead of just throwing ingredients together. It was filling without feeling too heavy, which is exactly what I was looking for. Decided to try Egg Club Ottawa for breakfast and was impressed. Tried both the lobster sandwich and the classic egg sandwich. The classic was really well done, well balanced, and packed with great flavour. The lobster sandwich had really nice flavour and was my personal favourite. The bread was thick, soft, and toasted well, while the eggs were fluffy and good. Overall, a great breakfast spot with quality ingredients and excellent sandwiches. Definitely worth checking out!

If you’re looking for a bit of an haut de gamme grab and go breakfast experience, this is a good option. It’s definitely yummy and delicious, however for me where it lost a point is on the how easy it was to eat. The sandwich hardly held together well so I kind of fought with it a bit and made a mess. However in terms of flavor definitely yummy. If you’re really hungry, I’d go for two sandwiches! Atmosphere gets a 4, this is more of personal preference for me. It feels more of a grab and go spot and didn’t feel super cozy to me. But again that’s more to me.

Very quick and clean service, nice quick brunch or breakfast spot. Affordable and the quality and taste are great! Customizable sandwiches so it’s accommodating to different diets. Definitely recommend visiting. They don’t serve pepper seasoning on the egg or anything which surprisingly the sandwich tasted pretty good, I didn’t really smell or taste like that bad egg smell you get with omelettes.

I’m not sure what happened there, but it was barely lukewarm and tasted incredibly weak. I didn’t feel even a hint of a caffeine kick. Also, a heads-up for first-timers: this is a grab-and-go spot. I made the mistake of assuming I could sit down and enjoy my breakfast, but it’s definitely not designed for lounging. This is a solid choice if you are: • In a rush for work. • On a quick lunch break. • Looking for a top-tier egg snack to eat on the move. Pro-tip: Get the sandwich, skip the coffee, and find a warm spot nearby to eat!
