Rooms are basic as advertised, cleanliness was alright but could have been a little better. One issue we had was service as we didn’t find the staff to be overly friendly. It often felt like we were an inconvenience to them. However, our biggest issue was towels. Something that should be so simple for any accommodation yet they are treated like a luxury here. They will give you enough towels for one day at a time, and only after you go down and ask for them. Meaning you’re going back to reception every single day to ask for towels. Then they will look up your booking, confirm your identity, confirm your party size, and give you exactly what you need for that day… IF they even have any to give. Pillows are also paper thin so I highly recommend bringing your own if at all possible. One plus would be the breakfast. It has been good each morning we’ve gone. Long story short; don’t bother staff, but be prepared to ask for towels everyday, and bring your own pillows. Definitely wont be back.

Good location, helpful staff, good breakfast. Rooms are clean but very basic. You get a bed, desk, closet, and the shower but no lamps, no hair dryer, towels are pilling, water in the shower’s hard to control, and some little damages on the walls. For the price, it’s good enough!

Very clean rooms. Very affordable. Very busy but I would stay here again. I appreciate that breakfast is included. I couldn't connect to the wifi but I'm not surprised as this happens ever time I stay at the university residence. It's minor for me, anyway. It's one minute walk from Nathan Phillips Square and a very shirt walj to the Eaton Centre. Highly recommend!

This is a very convenient place to stay in the heart of Toronto. It is very close to Dundas Square, the Eaton Center, City Hall and is walkable to the waterfront and other attractions as well as Chinatown. It is situated right on a trolley line that will take you to other neighborhoods in Toronto. The front desk staff are very polite, courteous and helpful as well as the IT staff. They do have it staff on hand to help you with internet connections, printer, jams or other technical problems which is very helpful. breakfast is included and offers a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every diverse taste bud. it would be great if they extended the breakfast until 11:00 for the late sleepers. Definitely stay here when in Toronto.
