Jenna, Tico and the Artisan MRKT team in Cabbagetown makes for a gem of a store. I make a special trip there every couple of months and most times than not - I do some retail therapy, talk to kind people, and pet a corgi! You can find a variety of gift products from many local small businesses. Check them out!

I chose Artisan MRKT as a first time artisan vendor and I had a wonderful experience with Jenna, Tico, Kim and all the staff. They are so helpful and supportive through the entire process and Jenna and Kim especially made time to give me feedback, feature my items on IG and in the store, and sometimes even make small changes to my display for optimal visibility. That collaboration and investment in my business has meant the world to me and I also credit that care and extra effort in supporting my success at the store. I know they go that extra mile for all of the other talented vendors as well. Unfortunately, I've had to move out due to personal reasons, but I highly recommend any artisan and creative vendors looking for a warm, friendly and boutique experience for themselves and their clients to connect with Jenna and Artisan MRKT. Artisan MRKT is a true Cabbagetown gem! As both a customer and a seller, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a beautifully curated gift shop filled with incredible local talent. The vibe is charming, and the staff are consistently lovely. ​Jenna, the owner, is incredibly supportive of the maker community, which makes stocking here a dream. And of course, the real boss is Tico the Corgi—the friendliest quality control expert/curator you’ll ever meet. Whether you’re looking for a unique gift or a supportive retail home for your art, this is the spot!

If you are looking for unique gifts all while supporting local artists and small businesses, then this hidden gem is the place to be. So many vendors and artists to choose from, jewlery, post cards, home decor, art, small trinkets and everything in-between. It is a must visit and with rotating vendors, there is always something new to discover! And if you are lucky enough, you might be greeted by the "Tico" the Chief Corgi Officier during your visit.

A new hidden gem in Cabbagetown! I recently visited Artisan MRKT while searching for a last-minute wedding gift, and I was blown away by the experience! This charming gift shop offers a curated selection of authentic, locally-made items that are perfect for any occasion. The salesperson was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding me to create a personalized gift basket filled with unique treasures. From handcrafted mugs and candles to beautiful paintings, greeting cards, and even incense, the variety of products was impressive. Everything is sourced from local artists, which makes it feel even more special. The prices were fair, and the quality of the items was outstanding. If you're looking for something meaningful and want to support local businesses, this cute store is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
