I hosted a cocktail party for 30 people here and couldn’t have been happier with the evening. The venue is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. I received many compliments from my guests on the venue, food, and service. Sarah, Marcela, and the team were incredibly accommodating and made the entire experience seamless, from the initial planning through to the end of the night. I wouldn’t hesitate to host another event here and highly recommend it for a special celebration.

What a perfect day! We hosted our small wedding here for about 30 people and we had the most amazing time! Marcela was our incredible day of coordinator and she made sure everyone was having a good time and that everything was moving along! She was so attentive to our needs. This venue is absolutely gorgeous, we barely needed to decorate. They provided us with the gold arches and dried florals and they lit up beautiful candles all over. Don’t even get me started on the food! We had made sure to taste test the food at simpl things and it was exactly the same level for their canapés at Ahma too! Absolutely delicious with every bite and the chef kept it up the whole event! My guests even requested some of the mini burgers without cheese to fit their dietary requirements and the chef did it no problem! This day was absolutely perfect and I can’t give enough praise and thanks to Marcela and the team at Ahma! ❤️🥰❤️

Considerate Food Tasting a year ago

Sarah and her team were phenomenal at delivering above and beyond for our wedding celebration at Ahma. My partner and I were looking for an intimate venue to host our party of 34 for a Sunday wedding lunch. We wanted a hassle-free experience and the experience with Ahma met our expectations. They were diligent and communicative throughout the whole process: from early consulting to tastings to setting up the wedding event. We had a clear idea of what was offered, the price points and deadlines. Some notable things: 1) Sarah and team created a rough schedule, provided decor and venue set up and even translated and printed Chinese menus for our guests 2) We shared considerations for allergies: gluten-free, nut-free and egg-free guests and they were able to accommodate equivalent dishes. Our guests with dietary restrictions especially shared praise for the taste of their dishes. 3) The service on the day was consistent and attentive. Food came out in good time and drink orders came around plenty. 4) The bride and groom (us) arrived 20 minutes late. I was grateful to have found and worked with Ahma for an intimate celebration of life held last weekend. As a specialty memorial event planner, I look for unique and atmospheric venues that are warm and inviting with staff who understand the sensitive nature of the bereaved families I serve. Ahma was exactly that. We were able to integrate the charm of the venue while personalizing the space with elements that reflected my client's loved one – art, memorabilia, candles and flowers. The catering with Simpl Things was delicious, thoughtful and elevated food. We had a number of logistics – livestream, service, live musicians, layout transition to the reception, memory tables – that were seamlessly facilitated by the staff. This is an amazing event venue. I found it through Tag venue website. Very fairly priced. Beautiful boho style interior, very clean! And fully stocked bar for all delicious cocktails. It was very easy to have communication as the event co-ordinator Kat was amazing with getting everything set up. Had the best time at our engagement party!
